Entered the Air Corps in June 1941, trained in Barksdale Field, La., Scott Field, Ill, Miami Beach, Fla.; served in N. Africa, Middle East, Corsica, Italy, France; Awarded ETO Ribbon with seven Battle Stars, one Silver Star, Pres. Unit Citation, Am. Defense Ribbon.
