CM 1/c Thomas A. G. Short, son of Mrs. Maggie Short, attended school in Texas; husband of the former Ruth Carter.  Entered Navy in March, 1942, trained in San Diego, Cal., Bremerton, Wash.; served in Alaska and S. Pacific, where he was wounded in action; was discharged in Oct., 1945.
