Richard Wayne Hughes, son of Rev. and Mrs. A. E. Hughes, graduated from Decatur High School, 1939, Decatur Texas.  Served in Army Air Corps. He served in India and was discharged in 1945. He moved his family to Tillman County in 1952. He owned and operated Hughes Jewelry Store in Frederick. Although he is not listed in the original 1940's publication, his name has been added by his family. He is a long-time Frederick, Tillman County, OK resident.
