Sgt. C. C. Blackburn, son of Alsie D. Blackburn, attended Durant High School; husband of the former Philipia Walker. Entered the Air Corps in Aug. 1945, trained in Ft. Sill, Enid, Frederick, Okla., Lubbock, Texas, Salt Lake City, Utah, Sacramento, Cal; served in Manila and Japan.
