S/1/c James Donal Mitchell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mitchell, attended Frederick School; husband of the former Mary Helen Carlton. Entered Coast Guards in July, 1942, trained in New Orleans, La., Galveston, Texas, New York and Norfolk, Va.; was discharged in Oct., 1945.
