Sgt. Vallie W. Humble, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Humble, attended Chattanooga High School. Entered Air Corps in Dec., 1941, transferred to Army in March, 1945, trained in Jefferson Brks., Mo., Moody Field, Chatham Field, Ga., Kessler Field, Miss. and Camp Howze, Texas; served in the Philippines where he is now on duty.
