S 1/c Thomas E. Meadows, son of Mrs. Ruth Grose, graduated from Tipton High School. Entered Navy in 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal. and Philadelphia, Pa.; served in S. W. Pacific Zone; was wounded in action in May, 1945 in Okinawa; is now on duty aboard the U.S.S.Solomons. Awarded Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with seven Battle Stars.
