Pfc. Leslie W. Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Wood, attended Marietta High School.  Entered Marines in Nov., 1943, trained in Camp Pendleton and Camp Elliott, Cal.; served in the Marshalls, Saipan and Okinawa; is now on duty in Japan.  (As per original 1940's publication.)
