B 1/c James P. Banks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Banks, attended Frederick High School; husband of the former Bebe Wright. Entered the Navy in April 1944, trained in San Diego, Cal; served in the Phillippines, Saipan, Okinawa, Japan; did duty aboard the U.S.S. Tazewell. Awarded the Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with three Battle Stars.
