S/Sgt. Charles D. Box, son of Mrs. and Mrs. J. F. Box, graduated from Manitou High School; husband of the former Mary Eltine Fant. Entered the Air Corps in Nov. 1942, trained in Hammer Field, March Field, Glendale, Daggett, Cal., Ephrata, Wash.; went overseas in Sept. 1945; served in Pearl Harbor. Awarded Good Conduct Medal.
