1st Lt. John W. Mayes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mayes, graduated from Univ. of Okla.; husband of the former Luella Ogle. Entered Air Corps in Sept., 1942, trained in Yale Univ. and Selman Field, La.; served in England; is now discharged. Awarded DFC, Air Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, ETO Ribbon with four Battle Stars.
