Lt. William I. Phillips, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Phillips, attended Okla. Univ.  Entered the Air Corps in April, 1943, trained in Wichita, Kan., Kelly Field, Waco, Temple, Texas, Altus, Okla., Shreveport, La.; served in England, France, Holland and Belgium, where he is now on duty.  Awarded Air Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters, Pres. Unit Citation, EAME Ribbon with two Battle Stars. (as per origianl 1940's publication)
