T/Sgt. James H. Porter, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Porter, graduated from Henderson High School; husband of the former Lorene Minyard.  Entered the Army in 1944, trained in Oregon, Washington; served in New Guinea and the Philippines, where he is now on duty. (as per original 1940's publication)
