S. Sgt. Wm. H. Purcell, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Purcell, Sr., attended CSTC, Edmond.  Entered Army in 1942, trained in California, Missouri, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania; served in S. Pacific, India and China; is now on duty in Calcutta, India. (as per original 1940's publication)
