Maj. Lewis D. Rick, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Rice, graduated from Frederick High School, attended Okla. Univ. Entered Air Corps in May, 1940, trained in Spartan, Randolph Field, Brooks Field, Kelly Field, Texas, Calilifornia; served as instructor in U. S.; went overseas in Nov., 1943; was killed in action in India, March 1944.
