CCM John H. Woodmore, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Woodmore, attended Frederick School; husband of the former Willie May Clanton.  Entered Seabees in Sept., 1942, trained in Camp Endicott, R. I.; served in New Hebrides, the Solomons, New Caledonia, New Guinea and the Admiralties; was honorably discharged in July, 1945.  Awarded Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with three Battle Stars.
