Sgt. Jack E. Zumwalt, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.J. Zumwalt, graduated from Frederick High School. Entered Army in 1942, trained in Ft. Stockton, Cal., Camp Pickett, Va., and Camp Butner, N.C.; served in England, France, Belgium and Germany; is now on duty in Germany. (as per original 1940's publication)
