T/5 Carl H. Guthrie, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Guthrie, attended Manitou High School. Entered Amry in Jan., 1943, trained in Camp Swift, Texas; served in England, France, Belgium, Germany and Czechoslovakia. Awarded ETO Ribbon with five Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal.
