Pvt. Ernest D. Rector, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Rector, attended Frederick School.  Entered Air Corps in Nov., 1942, trained in Hammer Field, Cal.; served in N. Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany; was discharged.  Awarded EAME Ribbon with eight Battle Stars, Bronze Arrowhead, ood Conduct Medal.
