Cpl. Wesley R. Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Campbell, attended school in Tipton. Entered the Air Corps in Dec. 1941, trained in Will Rogers Field, Okla. City, Okla.; served in Africa, Sicily, Italy, Corsica, France, Germany. Awarded Good Conduct Medal, ETO Ribbon with nine Battle Stars.
