S/Sgt. William W. Gover, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Gover, attended Frederick High School and Chillicothi, Mo.; husband of the former Mary Jane Atteberry. Entered Air Corps in Oct, 1941. Trained in Sheppard Field, Amarillo. Texas, Kearns, Utah; served in New Guinea, Leyte, Mindoro, Samar, Luzon, Okinawa and Japna. Awarded Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with six Battle Stars. Philippine Ribbon, Victroy Ribbon, Am. Theatre Ribbon, Pres. Unit Citation.
