Entered Navy in Dec., 1942 trained in San Diego, Cal.; served in Hawaii, the Marshalls, the Marianas; was discharged in Oct., 1945. Awarded Am. Theatre Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with one Battle Star.
