Cpl. William K. Lance, son of T. E. Lance, graduated from Frederick High School. Entered Air Corps in March, 1943, trained in Ft. Sill, Okla., Sheppard Field, Texas, Sioux Falls, S.D., Madison, Wis., and Jefferson Brks., Mo.; served in England, France, Germany and Belgium. Awarded Good Conduct Medal, Am. Theatre and ETO Ribbons with four Battle Stars.
