Ens. Clifford R. Linker, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.T. Linker, attended Davidson School; husband of the former Marcella McPrang. Entered Navy in Aug., 1943, trained in Annapolis, Md.; served in Guadalcanal, Guam, Iwo Jima and Okinawa where he was wounded in action; is now on duty in Corpus Christi, Texas. Awarded Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with four Battle Stars, the Purple Heart.
