Sgt. Clarence J. Massey, son of Mrs. Joy W. Ryder, graduated from Frederick High School. Entered Air Corps in April, 1943, trained in Atlantic City, N.J., Ft. Logan, Colo. and Muroc, Cal.; served in Italy; is now discharged. Awarded ETO Ribbon with eight Battle Stars, Pres. Unit Citation with Oak Leaf Cluster, Good Conduct Medal.
