1st Lt. Leonard B. Nulty, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Nulty, attended Frederick High School. Entered Air Corps in July, 1941, trained in Jeffeson Brks, Mo. Chanute Field, Ill, Montgomery, Ala., and Blythesville, Ark.; served in England, Italy, Rumania, Isle of Capri; was discharged. Awarded DFC with five Oak Leaf Clusters. Pres. Unit Citation, good Condust Medal, the Purple Heart.
