F 1/c Christopher G. Pearson, son of Mrs. M. S. Pearson, graduated from Electra High School, Texas; husband of the former Viola Frances Mitchell.  Entered Navy in March, 1943, trained in San Diego, Cal.; went overseas in Oct., 1944, served in the Philippines, Okinawa, Guam, Pearl Harbor and New Guinea; is now on duty in Japan.  Awarded Philippine Lib. Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with one Battle Star. (as per original 1940's publication)
