S/Sgt. Rufus V. Shuping, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Shuping, attended Tipton High School.  Entered Army in Oct., 1944, trained in Camp Robinson, Ark.; served in Luzon; is now on duty in Japan.  Awarded Good Conduct Medal.
