Raymond J. Waits, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Waits, graduated from Frederick High School and attended Frederick Jr. College; husband of the former Chyela Crow. Entered Air Corps in Sept, 1942, trained in Buckley Field, Colo., Robbins Field and Daniel Field, Ga.; went overseas in Oct. 1943, served in Scotland, England, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany; was discharged. Awarded Good Conduct Medal, ETO Ribbon with six Battle Stars, Pres. Unit Citation.
