Entered the Navy in Feb. 1942, trained in Great Lakes, Ill., Little Creek, Va., New York City, N.Y.; served in France, England, Africa, Italy, Sicily and Guam. Awarded ETO Ribbon with three Battle Stars, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon, Victory Ribbon.
