2nd Lt. Harold G. McAfee, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. McAfee, attended Frederick High School. Entered Air Corps in Dec., 1941, trained in Scott Field, Santa Ana, Cal., Kirtland Field, N. M.; served in South Africa and England; was killed in action in Jan., 1944 in Germany. Awarded Air Medal, the Purple Heart, ETO Ribbon.
