Cpl. John E. Walters, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Walters, graduated from Frederick High School.  Entered Army in Aug., 1943, trained in Ft. Sill, Okla., Ft. Benning, Ga., Stillwater, Okla., and Camp Howze, Texas; served in Alsace where he was taken Prisoner of War in Nov., 1943, was liberated in May, 1945; is now in Walter Reed Hosp., Washington, D. C.  Awarded ETO Ribbon with two Battle Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Conbat Inf. Badge.
