1st. Lt. Duncan V. Fields, son of Mrs. Mary J. Fields, attended Okla. A&M; husband of the former Helen B. Wheatley. Entered the Army in July, 1942, trained in Camp Carson, Colo., Ft. Benning, Ga., Camp Adair, Camp White, Ore.; served in Africa, Sicily, Corsica, Panama, the Philippines and Italy, where he was wounded in action in Sept., 1944. Awarded the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, EAME Ribbon with five Battle Stars.
