Pvt. John H. Gross, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gross, attended school in Muskogee, Okla. Entered Army in Nov., 1942, trained in Camp Livingston, La., and Ft. Huachauca, Ariz.; served in New Guinea and Japan. Awarded Good Conduct Medal, Asiatic Pacific Ribbon with three Battle Stars.
