Maj. Willie B. Kennedy, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Kennedy, graduated from Henderson High School; husband of the former Marion Joyce Yerkes. Entered Army in Jan.,1937, trained in Fitzsimmons Gen. Hospital; served in N. Africa, Italy, France, and in Herbricks Field, Ala. Awarded ETO Ribbon with three Battles Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Am. Defense Ribbon.
