Sgt. Jimmy Lemonds, son of Mrs. Lum Lemonds, attended Frederick School. Entered Army in Jan., 1943, trained in Camp Swift, Texas; served in England, France, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany and Czechoslovakia. Awarded ETO Ribbon with five Battle Stars, Pres. Unit Citation with Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star, Am. Defense Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal.
