Sgt. Arlie F. West, son of Mrs. Ella West, attended Frederick School; husband of the former Fern Conway.  Entered Army in 1942, trained in Camp Carson, Colo., Camp Butner, N.C.; went overseas in Jan., 1945, served in France, Luxembourg, Germany, Holland and Belgium; is now discharged.  Awarded Good Conduct Medal, Service Award of Merit, Combat Inf. Badge, ETO Ribbon with two Battle Stars.
